About

Labour Students has played an essential role throughout the history of the Labour Party, behind almost every major victory there has been a relentless energy mobilised by our movement, to make the difference when it's mattered most. Whether it's at our famous conference disco or on the doorstep in the pouring rain, Labour Students has always put heart and passion into all it's done to win for students, our communities and the Labour Party.

Since being re-established in September 2022, Labour Students has worked to build a space for students in our party to organise, socialise and come together as one. From our annual conference to regular campaign days and social events, Labour Students engages thousands of members into the fight for a fairer, greener future.

Labour Students is committed in the belief that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many not the few; where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe and where we live together freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect.

Our National Labour Students committee are elected on a two year term basis, to represent our members and further the aims we believe in.
